Currently at CHAOSS, she promotes healthier open ecosystems. She's contributed to Outreachy, Google Season of Docs, and spoken at top global conferences.

Alexandre Zapolsky is one of the most prominent advocates for open source software in Europe and the founder of LINAGORA, one of France’s leading companies in free and open source software development.

He has played a pivotal role in promoting the principles of digital independence and technological sovereignty through open source-based solutions. With many years of experience collaborating with public and private institutions, he actively supports the adoption of free software in education, public administration, and industry.

His participation in FOSSCOMM 2025 strengthens our message of freedom, transparency, and sovereignty in technology through the power of open source.

FOSSCOMM (Free and Open Source Software Communities Meeting) is an annual pan-Hellenic conference of free and open source communities. It is aimed at programmers, students and any interested person, regardless of background. Communities, groups of programmers and project contributors participate, with topics ranging from technical issues and workshops, to translations, legal and open source policies. Participation is free and open to everyone. The organizing committee of FOSSCOMM 2025 invites communities and interested individuals to submit a proposal for a talk or workshop at the conference taking place on October 11–12, 2025.The main language of the conference is Greek, but proposals in English are also accepted.
